Sandcastles in the Mind
There is no separate “individual human mind” lest one make it so. What is imagined to be “my” selfing mind is nothing more than a mentally constructed sandcastle, consisting of flimsy, paper-thin, defensive thoughts. The belief in this individual selfing mind obstructs the view and possibilities of life, making it impossible to experience one’s innate freedom.
When the selfing mind is observed, the witness of this selfing realizes that it is not real. The witness, rests in clear, natural awareness and can choose to let this destructive, defensive selfing mind go, i.e., stop its momentum. As selfing slows, the unveiling of one’s natural, intuitive, insightful, awareness is unveiled; with it's endless potential as the universal true “Self.”
There is always hesitation to embrace this Self, for fear that one will become extinct. That the only self one has even know will die and one will be an irrelevant, nothingness. But the great paradox and truth of the matter, is that when one embraces the true Self, one becomes free and is no longer imprisoned by defensive mental constructs of an imagined, limited fearful ego driven self. When one lets go of the mind grind, the mental constructs cease and the sandcastle constructed of defensive thought begins to erode and collapse on itself; dissolving into the nothingness from which it came.
The sandcastle of individual selfing mind falls effortlessly, washed away by the subtlest waves of pure insight. Invite those waves and they will consistently reach the shore. What will remain is pure, natural, unadulterated awareness, free to create…not from fear, but from freedom.
