In the beginning…

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was with God.”

From the very first concept of “God”, man stopped seeing things clearly and mistook the label for the essence of what he was trying to capture in words, which is impossible because words are inadequate.

Just as the word ‘sunset’ can never capture the breathtaking beauty we experience upon gazing at the water-colored natural beauty in nature; a label for “God” or a birth given name, such as “Jesus” or “Mary” can never capture the essence of the spirit looking back at us from another.

When you greet another, practice looking into their eyes and seeing their Essence. Look past all that we are taught to evaluate…the clothes, the shoes, the body, and look into their eyes. Dare to be vulnerable and allow the Essence within them to connect to that same Essence within you. That is the Divine honoring the Divine. We can never separate ourselves from the Creator, we live in That and through That Divine Essence.

This is true meaning of “we are all one.”
